We are happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 25.2.3 (March 17, 2025). This release of Eggplant Gateway contains the following enhancements and defect fixes.

Eggplant Gateway for Sauce Labs Devices

• Improves swipe consistency on Sauce Labs iOS devices.

Eggplant Gateway for iOS

• Fixes an issue where the iOS tunnel is terminated upon close of the fist started iOS connection.

Eggplant Gateway for Android

• Ships the adb binary on MacOS arm installations.

Eggplant Gateway for Screenshots

• Adds support for png images.

Persistent Connection Service (PCS)

• Adds a REST API for adding, removing, and updating screenshot connections.

Eggplant Gateway for Remote Desktop (RDP) Connections

• Adds multiple monitor (Multi Monitor) support for RDP connections.

  • Adds a new argument --numOfMonitors for the Eggplant Gateway add rdp command line interface (CLI) command.
  • Displays multiple monitors in the Eggplant Functional (EPF) system under test (SUT) Viewer window when the --numOfMonitors value is more than 1.
